FRIENDS OF SOUTHSIDE SCHOOL ENDOWMENT FUND

Our mission is to enrich the education of our students at Southside School.

The Friends of Southside School Endowment fund is a permanent fund, established in 2006, to enhance the curriculum through enrichment for the students at Southside School.  Since 2006 we have helped to fund or funded a computer server, three years of music instruction, three years of an artist in residence (Shannon Grissom), art instruction, badminton equipment, theater drapery, a running club, a poet in residence, a science unit and science camp.  These programs add to the overall excellence in education at Southside School.  The endowment fund will be here for Southside School forever; we grant out the interest, while the principal stays in the endowment fund.

Grant forms are available by contacting one of the board members below.  We offer grants throughout the year.

If you would like to make a tax deductible contribution to the Friends of Southside School Endowment Fund, you can do so by mailing your donation to:  Community Foundation for San Benito County, 829 San Benito Street #200, Hollister, CA 95023.  Make the donation payable to the Friends of Southside School Endowment Fund.  Or you can do so by going online to www.givesanbenito.org and look up the Friends of Southside School Endowment Fund.
